Sweet Treats
For Valentine's Day, I decided to whip up some special pancakes for breakfast. I added a bit of food coloring to the batter and made each boy his favorite colored pancake. Jack wanted purple and Wes wanted green!I didn't really think it would make a difference but they seemed to eat more than usual!
I tried my hand at making French Macarons. They were super easy to make and I will be trying again. I added raspberry flavoring and the filling was a raspberry vanilla buttercream.They are supposed to have a raised dome to them but I think I over mixed, they tasted wonderful anyway!
